These sensors can be found inside the top cameras being used today in the Scientific Imaging marketplace. These sensors are also being employed in higher performance niches in Security and Surveillance, due to their high sensitivity and their high dynamic range as well as the low cost in volumes. Our sCMOS sensors allow our customers to collect images under lower light conditions and at higher speeds than are possible with standard technology. Two other exciting applications that have benefited from our sCMOS technology are Professional Video and Industrial Inspection. Professional video cameras attain tremendous image quality in very demanding environments like shaded areas on a bright sunny day due to our high intra-scene dynamic range while avoiding motion blur. And industrial inspection systems also benefit from our high dynamic range combined with high resolution and high frame rate, especially with our LTN4625A image sensor.
